Manila, Philippines - After FHM model China Roces, it was Angel Gutierrez name being linked to Paolo Bediones video scandal.
As claimed by some netizens on Facebook and Twitter, Gutierrez known as @iamangelfierce on her social media channels is the girl in the video.
Her name sparked online conversations after China Roces,
whom netizens first tagged as the girl in the viral video posted on her
Facebook page about her interview with disc jockey Mo Twister and to
deny the allegations.
From the comments on her post, some netizens revealed some photos of Angel Gutierrez including a collage to justify similarities of her with the unidentified woman in the private video.
Further research on Gutierrez identity showed that her account on
Instagram, Pinterest and Gifboom were already kept private and images on
Pose.com were already deleted.
An alleged Twitter account of Angel shows a description of her:
"Professional Model, Certified Fashionista, addicted to shoes, clothes,
bags and gadgets."
Aside from Angel Gutierrez and China Roces, other names being dragged into Bediones' video scandal were Helen Grace Garbo Gonzalez and Michaela Monteverde of female group Baywalk Bodies.
The TV5 news anchor has no words yet for the identity of the controversial girl in the video.
TV5, Kapatid Network news anchor Paolo Bediones trends on Twitter
amid the 6-minute-44-second bed scene video allegedly featuring Bediones
and an unidentified woman.
As of posting time Bediones has not yet released his statement regarding the said video.
Online comments have flooded the internet, some are still looking for
the source link. One statement says it is Extra Challenge for Paolo
Bediones. Another one says, “At least we are now aware that Paolo
Bediones is not a gay.”
“Bakit kasi kailangan pa nilang videohan ang mga ganun bagay that
should be personal,”
an online comment says.
“Hindi ba sila nadala dun
sa nangyari kina Chito-Neri, Wally-Yosh, Hayden-Katrina etc. Sira na
ang image tapos malaking kahihiyan sa mga nakapaligid sa inyo especially
sa pamilya nyo mismo.”
TV5 management released a statement supporting the news anchor. “The
recent issue involving our news anchor, Paolo Bediones, on social media
is a purely personal and private matter in which TV5 has no involvement
or desire to intrude,” TV5 said.
“We accord our employees and talents all respect that are due them for their privacy and personal action or decision.”
“We disapprove strongly the malicious and wanton publication of the
video, an act that clearly violates pertinent cybercrime laws.”
“We firmly express our support for our anchor Paolo Bediones in the
face of a controversy that represents nothing more than an attempt to
smear his reputation,” TV5 noted.
