Honduras VS Ecuador

Ecuador and Honduras have both qualified for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. Honduras qualified with a third place finish in the CONCACAF fourth round. Ecuador qualified with a fourth place finish in the CONMEBOL round robin qualifying. Honduras played another CONMEBOL team a few days ago, Brazil, and were blown out 5-0. As they try to gain some invaluable experience for the World Cup, they’ll look for a better result against a team outside of their conference. “The 5-0 score (against Honduras) did not reflect reality,” Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari said, via ESPN FC. “It was a well-contested game and it could have been 2-0 or 3-0.” Scolari and his Brazilian squad were feeling confident after the win. “Brazil will be champions,” he said. “If I didn’t believe we could win the World Cup, I would not coach the team. I would be sitting at home.”
